The Buzz on Buddz
“Columbia MC Impresses Global Reggae Market And U.S. Hip-Hop Community Alike”
-Billboard Magazine, Hillary Crosley

“Finally! A fat, fragrant sack of rugged roots reggae celebrating life’s organic pleasures.”
-Vibe Magazine, Rob Kenner

“He does sound like is a plaintive on drop crooner of the same class as I Wayne or Bascom X at his best, with a powerful emotional catch to his voice and a distinctly Bermudian lilt.”
-Fader Magazine, Edwin “Stats” Houghton

“The rustic, bittersweet sound of his tenor reaches emotional depths you normally wouldn’t associate with any 25 year old. Yet, this talented singer and skilled lyricist is sitting on the brink of stardom…”
Jamrock Magazine, Rhona Fox

“Collie Buddz is being tapped by heavyweights like DJs Bobby Konders and Jabba as the next big Reggae star.”
-MTV.COM, Shaheem Reid

“For reggae music, 2007 will be a turning point in the music’s growth and progression with the emergence of Bermuda native, Colin Harper, better known as his musical alter-ego, Collie Buddz.”
-The Hilltop Newspaper (Howard University), Brittany Hutson

Bermuda-born deejay Collie Buddz who is now based in the US, has been making quite an impact with his tune 'Come Around.' COLLIE BUDDZ IN FADER MAGAZINE #43!
No matter what the trend, in any given season there is always one ganja tune that dominates the set at reggae dances from Jamaica to Japan. This particular semester that 45 is “Come Around” by freshman singjay Collie Buddz.

What he does sound like is a plaintive one drop crooner of the same class as I Wayne, or Bascom X at his best, with a powerful emotional catch to his voice and a distinctly Bermudian lilt.
